ok
I have changed my mind. We didn’t lose. Good. It was a bad performance. Bad. We haven’t played well since the Spurs match, a month and about 64 matches ago. Bad. We haven’t signed anyone. Bad. Torres has no confidence whatsoever. Bad.
However, we play United on Sunday, the last game of which was one of our best performances this season, Torres was excellent and I’m sure he’ll be dying to banish all memories of his horror-miss (which I still haven’t actually seen, not having been looking when it happened and not having seen any replays since. Can’t have been that bad, surely? Hmmmm?), we may not have an experienced left-back, our most dynamic midfielder may be knacked, Bosingwa will still probably play but hey. United have not been all that impressive of late either.
Which means it will be the most eye-gougingly dull 0-0 ever witnessed, worse than the 2007 Cup Final (117 minutes of suicidal thoughts, Drogba-Frank-Drogba, lots of alcohol, happy Jose, happy times). Ah, nostalgia.
Also, that was a very impressive performance by Everton. Bodes well for next Saturday, a match at which I shall be present, weep.
